Sustainability TOP

Cindy's specialities include nature inspired pieces made by hand fabricating metal, with an emphasis on recycled metals and ethically sourced materials.  She is committed to operating in a manner that promotes socially responsible sourcing and minimizes environmental impact.
 
She uses green techniques and supplies that do not involve harsh chemicals as much as possible. Our diamonds are conflict free and she uses fair trade gemstones when available. She incorporates recycling in her studio and packaging.
 
Cast items are individually hand castby Cindy using scrap recycled sterling silver.
 
Since drawing upon nature for her designs and materials she thinks it is also her responsibility to do what she can for the environment.
 

Payments TOP

We accept all major credit cards through PayPal. You are not required to have a PayPal account to order, it is merely used as a secure way to submit payment.

Taxes TOP

All orders that ship within Florida are subject to a 6.50% sales tax.
 
Customer Orders Outside the United States:
All international buyers are responsible for any taxes, customs and duties that may be assessed by their government.

Shipping TOP

Orders ship within 1 business day from purchase, please allow 1 week for custom orders to be completed.
 
Shipping charges within the United States are $5.00. We ship by 1st Class Mail. Your jewels come in a recycled Kraft box ready for gift giving. If you would like to add insurance please email us at the time of purchase.

International Shipping TOP

We ship 1st Class International.

Returns TOP

We will accept all returns within 14 days of shipment. Please contact forresterdesigns@forresterdesigns.com for instructions on returns, custom orders are not returnable.
 
You will be notified by email once your return has been received. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for the refund of the purchase minus shipping to post to your account. (purchase must be returned in original condition for full refund.)

Materials TOP

 
Each piece is handcrafted using the best materials and although we make every effort to ensure the colors and sizes are accurate,due to the hand crafted nature of Cindy Forrester's jewelry, there may be slight variations in each piece as each piece has it's own natural characteristics and in no way are considered a flaw.
 
 

Packaging TOP

Your item will arrive ready for gift giving, wrapped in recycled Kraft box with a hemp tie and love charm. We make every effort to safely wrap for transit and to reuse packing materials where we can. If you are sending a gift directly to someone, leave instructions in the comments section at checkout and we will enclose a small tag with your message.

Jewelry Care TOP

Forrester Designs uses recycled sterling silver and often oxidizes (blackens) pieces to show the details.

Due to the nature of precious metals they will develop a natural patina over time from exposure to oxygen, chemicals, and oils in the skin. If you would like to discourage the tarnishing process, keep jewelry items clean and dry, and store them in an airtight container like a ziploc bag or a jewelry box.

If tarnishing occurs on Sterling Silver pieces, clean with gentle soap and water, lightly rub the surface with a paste of baking soda and water using a soft bristled toothbrush or a soft polishing cloth. Avoid polishing cloths or cleaners on Oxidized Sterling Silver as they will remove the patina. Over time, the dark finish of Oxidized Sterling Silver may wear to become an antiqued looking patina of dark grey and silver. This is a natural reaction of the patina to normal wear.
